
About Me.
Physical Fitness has been a part of my life for over 20 years now. I served in the U.S. Army for about 4 years. During this time I did regular mandated physical training until I one day I tore my ACL and meniscus. After I got out of reconstructive surgery I had to undergo months of physical therapy. Despite this my leg atrophied significantly and I discovered a new passion, weight training with the purpose to put muscle back on. I began buying all of the fitness and bodybuilding magazines I could get to replicate the workouts posted within.

After I left the Army, my passion grew into the desire to get on stage as a bodybuilder. As I competed, I began working with my mentor on how to train clients myself. I enrolled in college and continued my pursuit of knowledge within the field. This has led me to earning a bachelors degree in applied biomechanics and close to a masters in exercise physiology. I have taken countless courses in anatomy, human physiology, sports psychology and sports nutrition.

Beyond that, one of the things that separates me from many other coaches is my desire to continue learning and growing independently outside the classroom. I have taken several courses under J3U and frequently do independent research on current studies being performed within the industry.​

I have coached individuals who want to see general lifestyle results like gaining muscle and losing bodyfat but also individuals who wish to compete in bodybuilding shows. Of the athletes I have prepped for competition I have had several who have won their individual classes, won overall in their divisions and have been just two places away from winning their professional status at the national competition level.
